At the Glow Forward Foundation, our Board of Directors is deeply connected to the community we serve, with many members being single mothers, raised by, or closely connected to single mothers. This diverse team brings a wealth of expertise, including a Senior Project Manager with an MBA focused on Finance and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and an Associate Professor of Human Services and Executive Director of Health & Human Services with a PhD and LCPC. We also have a Juris Doctor Candidate experienced in Higher Education Financial Aid Counseling, currently serving at the Baltimore City Health Department, and a Program Compliance Officer who enhances workforce engagement through City of Baltimore Apprenticeships and Internships. Additionally, a Consulting Firm Administrator offers strategic insights, while another board member is a Realtor, Retired Facilities Manager, and Human Resources Professional. Collectively, our board's backgrounds in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, and Human Services, Law, and Community Advocacy amplify our impact, ensuring we effectively support single mothers in our community.
